This is a beautiful "modern rustic" nesting table set with reclaimed solid wood tops and hand forged metal bases. The wood has been recycled from colonial era railroad ties that have been procured from northern India. The railroad ties were made from recycled teak (or other hardwood from that area) and have been cleaned, cut in slabs and have been waxed and polished to a deep sheen bringing out the beautiful nature of the old wood. No two pieces of wood are alike. The metal bases are made from iron and also have a waxed finish.
